about

I am an artist interested in the natural world. Shared Planet is the title I work under, as it embodies the meaning of the work I do. I research and make art about nature and wildlife conservation, and animal welfare.

My interests comes from the belief that this is a shared world, not only here for human activity and consumption, but shared with many incredible species. I believe that other species and their habitats are what makes this planet rich and diverse, and this needs protecting.

For humans, building a relationship with nature can be intrinsic to our health and wellbeing, even offering means of healing. Nature can provide a reminder that there are things much bigger than us, that we are a part of nature and not separate from or above.

As humans, I see creativity is one of our best attributes, allowing us space for learning, play and exploration. Connecting creativity with nature brings possibilities.

Through my work, I hope to provide space to consider our perceptions of other species, habitats and the treatment of animal. So that in everyday life, we can find ways to protect and care for them, and to respectfully co-exist.
